Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy weight woven fabrics such as cotton twill, cotton canvas or denim will work well for the outer. Use medium weight wovens such as quilting cotton, cotton poplin or viscose twill for the lining. The designer has had the best results using a canvas weight fabric with Decovil light interfacing to provide structure.
Fabric requirements: The fabric requirements include only 10 cm (1/8 yd) buffer to avoid fabric wastage. This pattern is suitable for fabrics 140 cm (55") wide and wider.
1.40 m (55") wide fabric: Main, 0.65 m (3/4 yd) // Lining, 0.4 m (1/2 yd) // Interfacing, 0.4 m (1/2 yd).
Sizing:Â Finished measurements: W 14 cm x H (not including strap) 28 cm x D 20 cm (5 1/2" x 11" x 7 7/8").
