Buy the Seam Detail Dress sewing pattern from The Maker’s Atelier. A simple, stylish pull-on dress with seam detailing, pockets and turned-up cuffs. With no darts, zips or buttonholes this pattern is suitable for those new to dressmaking.
This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:
– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?
– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?
Suggested fabrics:Â Light to medium weight woven fabrics from chambrays and linens to needlecord and lightweight wools.
Fabric requirements:Â 120 cm wide fabric: 2.5 - 3.3 m //Â 150 cm wide fabric: 2 - 2.4 m.
Sizing: 8 – 22 (approx. UK 8 – 20, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions:Â Optional contrast topstitching thread to highlight seams; optional 50 cm fusible lightweight interfacing for neck facings (or if not using facings, 1 m bias binding to finish neck).
PDF pattern includes: Instructions; A4/US letter print-at-home pattern (40 pages); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets) // Layers: No // Projector file: No. Please note you must print all sizes to ensure no pieces or markings are lost.Â
